depends on javascript to force you to send only 5 messages at a time.
here is small shortcut:So switch off javascript
on IE go
Tools>Internet Options>Security>Internet>Custom level>Scripting
Close the browser and open it for again for your state.
also the format is like this if you want to send numerically

People are asking for IV's position on various issues that affect them personally or asking IV to push A, B, C and D ...provisons. Everything depends on how much resources we can put to bare and collectively make an effort. This means, contributions from everyone , Phonecalls to Senators tomorrow onwards from everyone , Webfaxes from everyone , emails to all senators (from all IV members) and of course get as many members as you can to join this effort. We need overwhelming participation from each and every member if we really want to accomplish something big for everyone that takes care of all our interests.

...let your Nor Cal members know - I'm trying to prepare a comprehensive document with lessons learned from the San Jose rally. Sort of a post mortem "what went right, what went wrong, how to improve" thing. It may take a few days, as we are all recovering and catching up!

Where did you get your DL renewed? Which state? :confused:
As someone else pointed out, if you don't drive will he/ she won't get a H1B?
This does not make sense.
I just renewed my DL in and BMV did not even ask for my visa/ passport validity and they issued me 5 years renewal (my visa expires in Oct 2008).
I can understand that based on your visa expiry date, BMV may issue only limited time DL.
I know each state has jurisdiction on these matters but there should be basically similar approach.

efforts are on for a recapture. but the valid question raised is: how does a recapture help when USCIS can't even process 140,000 a year?

So, I guess my point is that it is not easy even to get the congress to recapture visa numbers....

If they start processing/approve I-140, they will immi get bombarded with I485/EAD/AP applications. So they are trying to artifically stem down the workload they might get. Also this gives them a chance to clearup the 485 queue ... :-)

Has anyone done refinance from BOA on EAD / AOS (expired H1B & I-94)?
My current home loan is with BOA & I am trying to refinance with them, but they say we can't approve now because of status. I locked in rate in Sept. 2010 & now I am stuck as rates have gone up. After 4 months they have denied.
I don't know how to proceed further. They are not ready to give any letter & the lending policy. Any suggestions please......
I got my loan financed from BOA. I was putting 25% down on 550K home. They did not ask me even a single proof of my status before approving the loan . I am on EAD. Just a thought. May be you can increase the amount you are putting out of your pocket and may be they will approve. Again, just check this with them

After reading ind_game last quote "God save AC21.....". I have following questions:
1. Do you know any one (your friend, client) used AC21 and faced same problem? Es
2. Is it true that AC-21 info don't get updated in the USCIS records?
3. If yes (2 question), then x-employer I-140 revocation will ALWAYS result in THIS kind of problems (as ind-game is facing)?
4. To attorneys only: Is AC-21 really helpful or misleading? Asking because if it don't update in USCIS records.

I filed my EB2 with the same employer. Did not get any RFE for PERM Labor. I have M.S degree from US. I am in the same job role from the beginning (Web Developer).

If they would not have approved 25k cases in 2 days still they could change the cut off date instead of making unavailable. In any case accepting 500k to 700k applications when Visa number not available might create more problems for USCIS than current mess. I think USCIS well aware of potential lawsuit as they got opposition for similar thing for EB3 other workers in June. There is no strong motive for Scandals as no one gets Finanicial benefit in USCIS or DOS. It needs to be seen how Courts will handle Adminstrative mess up. It is highly unlikely for courts to order USCIS to accept I485 even if they find violation of law. But if court considers the lawsuit it will be used to fix some of the issues in VB regulations

Since it has been made clear by the USCIS that during the last weekend of June 30 and July 1 (2 days) the USCIS approved 25,000 EB 485 applications, apparently over 40,000 visa numbers were requested and authorized before the weekend. Obviously the 60,000 plus cases must thus have been approved (?) in one month. Unconformed sources indicate that they processed and approved (?) a substantial number of application on Sunday, July 1, exhausting the EB numbers by July 1 and making the EB number unavailable not from July 1 but from July 2, 2007. It is interesting that even before the legal team initiate any discovery, the truth starts coming out of the cabinet a bit by bit.
