Running this thread to thousands of pages alone is not gonna help us. Do you guys have a conference call where I can join and take up some action items?
IF IV has to throw its might behind this bill we need to:
-Reach out to ALL lawmakers, target who are susceptible (Sen. Brown from MA for example)
-Use phone calls (Can we have a mass phone campaign)
-Radio shows (Do we have a Radio show in Washington DC where IV can get Air time. I am sure lawmakers do listen to Radio shows)
-Email (what this thread is about right now)

You should be proud of what you are doing. Even if you dont do a great job, You should try your best and you should still believe that you are doing it to the best of your ability and no one can do it better. But the way you talk, you seem to be a big loser and one of those, who feel lucky to have got your H1B. Probably, USA wont lose anything when one some like you leave. But Dont talk for the folks here. If you think you are below average, thanks for accepting it. Anyway, we would have known that from your shameless post. Most of us here deserve it and are special and are destined for greater achievements.

Hi Guys,
My application was sent on Aug 7th reached USCIS (NSC)on Aug 8th. Recieved my reciept # today from lawyer. But my wife haven't recieved the RN. Was wondering if any one are in the same boat.

For your Information India's GDP is 3 trillion USD compare to Mexico 1 trillion USD. Taking into account GDP of EU India ranks 5th in GDP higher than any indivisual European nation where as Mexico ranks 13th. This is as per CIA worldfactbook. So where did you get the number

To begin with, this is not the place for me to explain to you the details of difference between Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) GDP (that you quote) and the market exchange rate GDP which I quoted. But since you raised the subject, PPP GDP is adjusted to accomodate for different inflation and consumption rates in different countries. Without the PPT adjustment, India's GDP is equal to Mexico's, even though India has 11 times the population of Mexico. The reason India comes in 4th with the PPP adjustment in the world is because the ruppee is undervalued and Indians have a purchasing power that is 4 times smaller than Mexicans. So, to humor you and use your method of calculation, the Per Capita GDP (PPP) Of India is $3,344 in 2006 and Mexico's is $12,886. "Where are all the Mexican doctores, computer scientists, economists and professors?" you ask. The answer is: They are IN MEXICO making huge salaries, when the Indian ones have to come here because their salaries in India don't give them enough money to eat. Why aren't all the construction workers and lawn workers in the U.S. Indian? Because they cannot affor the airfare. The Mexicans just walk accross the border. Any you know what? All those Indian Professors at Harvard etc are teaching class to all those rich Mexican kids. Get your facts straight before you confront me and make fun of my MBA (which I got in the U.S. incidentally, not Mexico, but if I had wanted I could have gotten a top 20 MBA back home). I just recated to people's racist attacks here. So now, if you have anything to contribute to our IV common cause, welcome! I have received all of my family reciepts (I-485,AP,EAD) today from my attorney. Case filed at NSC and got the receipts with LIN numbers. Package reached NSC on Aug 10, '07.

I am trying to understand something here. So When we call TSC for FP they say it depends on local ASC. And I read from other posts on this and other forums that people who take infopass appointment for FP with their local ASC get a response that they have to call TSC for FP. So basically with Infopass , the local IO say to contact TSC and by calling TSC they say it depends on local ASC. What do we do now?

Perhaps a few will move on... but there are those who have sincerely been hurt by this "bait and switch". I hope to believe that they would keep this up!
Besides, the aim is to create as much awareness as possible! If we can achieve that, half our job is done!
By the way... we don't have to give the "All the best" note in person. We can mail it! A single flower along with it will make it a little more effective.

The above documents should have Condi's (and USCISs) LAW. Googler's last link appears to be the main source for all other links.

May 14 (??) when 60K GCs were available but many more AOSs were acceptable and were accepted from June 1-30.

July 2 when 0 GCs were available and ANY AOS was not acceptable.

c. Since revised visa bulletin update states that no visa number is available for FY USCIS, by law, can not accept new I-485 applications.

Im really not sure if this helps EB3 cases. for example in my case i have a bachelors degree + 10 years expereince and stuck in EB3. I dont think this will help me because I dont have an US degree.

No employer can advertise a job only for GC/Citizen unless they have a valid reason (the job needs security clearance etc.).
What are you drinking? How can GC holder get security clearance? Also, there are some jobs that may require US citizen without any requirement for security clearance. Example: Defence projects.
BTW the law does not say that authorized alien should have a work permit allowing him to work for any employer.
Read I-9 form. Employee must have work authorization before he/she can start work.
